Up to $110K+ Base + Bonus
The Firm’s digital watermarking technology provides a persistent digital identity for various media content and is used to enhance the security of financial documents, identity documents and digital images, and support other media rights management applications.
The Customer Solution Architect provides consultative support to both Company Sales staff and Company’s customers. This position directs the pre-sales assessment of customer needs resulting in a series of preliminary solution designs. CSA’s must attain expert knowledge of Company’s Solutions for Secure ID architectures, and apply that knowledge along with their personal expertise in IT systems, data center operations, workflow design and systems integration to design effective customer solutions.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Assessing customer needs across the Identity management and ID issues workflow and articulating those needs as program managed task requirements both internally and in customer sales situations
- Assessing the interaction of the customer’s system with other State or national government IT systems or agencies
- Assessing compliance or requirements for compliance to stated an de facto industry standards
- Functioning in the role of a software/integration engineer in areas of specific expertise
- Mapping customer requirements to the Company architecture to build a customer solution roadmap using the standard framework and product set, clearly identifying non-standard requirements
- Supporting sales meetings, conducting seminars, and aiding the sales executives with sales presentations
- Building strong relationships with the technical decision makers in the sales process
- Reading and assessing RFI’s, RFP’s and other procurement documents and designing responsive solutions
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Direct experience designing and delivering enterprise-class IT solutions
- Demonstrated experience successfully designing solutions in a three tiered client/server architecture
- Experience collecting, synthesizing and clearly communicating customer requirements
- Experience designing solutions using pre-existing modular components, integrated to form a complete hardware / software system
- Expert knowledge of the majority of the following technologies – Windows - .NET - XML and Web Services - Oracle or SQL Server database administration - enterprise directories
- State, Federal or International government project experience
- Willingness to travel approximately up to about 75% of the time
- BS in a technical discipline (Engineering, Math, Computer or Physical Sciences); MBA, MSEE or MSCS preferred (Experience will be considered in lieu of a specific technical degree)
Desired:
- Demonstrated pre-sales experience selling to State, Federal or national agencies
- Experience in modeling and design of queuing and workflow based systems
- Secure ID solution experience, such as ID card design, ID card personalization, biometrics, applicant data processing and verification
- Demonstrated success bidding, winning and delivering systems in a competitive procurement environment (RFP or ITB driven)
- Formal systems analysis, network design or object modeling training desired
Compensation:
Competitive Base Salary - $100K - $110K+ Depending on Experience + Bonus - Comprehensive Benefits Package
